OSR Novel Activities In addition to doing your: Reading Log, Word List, and I Wonder please chose two of the following activities.
1.Diary WritingPretend that you are a character in the novel. Write three diary entries explaining three
different events that occurred in the novel.
2. Character WebIdentify all the different characters in the novel and describe the relationships between them
3. Book ReviewPretend that you are a writer for a book review magazine. Write an article evaluationing the novel and make some recommendations to your readers
4. Sequel/EndingWrite a short sequel to your novel or rewrite a different ending.
5. Character AdditionCreate another character that would fit into your story. Write another chapter or choose one event to rewrite using that character. Remember to include a good description of your character.
6. InterviewWrite an interview with one of the major characters from your novel.
7. Author’s ViewPretend that you’re the author and describe the part that was the most fun or hardest to write. Explain why?
8. VillainIf the book has a villain, why was his or her punishment justified?
9. Time LineCreate a chronological timeline of the major events in the novel.
10. Excitement GraphCreate an excitement graph. You must include five events and three ratings ( ie: high, medium, low)
